Hello and welcome to the “Atlantic Diver” web site, hopefully this site will give you enough information to explain the type of diving just beginning to open up in the South West of England. My name is Chris Lowe and I run a dive charter boat from the lively resort of Newquay in Cornwall. 

I am the only charter boat concentrating on diving on the North Coast of Cornwall and have been doing so for about 20 years during which time there have been many changes both in the diving sector and the charter boat business, I am glad to say that most of the changes have been for the better.

Diving from Newquay has been in the main kept a secret until recently because the few that have experienced it have wanted to keep it to themselves however with the introduction of mixed-gas diving and the greater depths to which divers want to go this is now becoming more well known as a “new diving center”, giving all the traditional ingredients of great diving with the additional benefits of superb viz and excellent night life for those who want it.
